Using a drawing of a beetle from my sketch book I was able to create a repeat digital image.
I scanned the image into Photoshop cut the beetle from its original layer duplicated the layers positioned each beetle by eye (I am sure there is a function on Photoshop but couldn’t find it) flattened the image, using the pattern fill tool created a repeat pattern. Printing the design onto sublimation paper enabled me to experiment adding layers of colour and over printing.
