We came into the studio to find a note on the bottom of our design , “is this too formal” (from our tutor) This caused some discussion ! As a group we thought our design worked well but took on board the note and decided to add texture, we looked at the initial jewellery drawings and photos and decided to use a mosaic/shard effect . By cutting up our initial drawings and using pigment markers to create a variation of line to create random texture onto each layer.
I found it hard to visualise the pattern in colour in final production with or without the texture, looking forward to seeing how it all works together.
